17. Connect my risco alarm system to a new wi-fi connection/router

Wicomm Pro

➢ To perform a Wi-Fi Scan: 

1. At the keypad, press the [menu/back/↰] key (bottom left key), enter your Grand Master code, and then press [enter/OK/✔]. 

2. At Activities press [enter/OK/✔]. 

3. Scroll down to Wi-Fi, and then press [enter/OK/✔]. If you don't see Wi-Fi in the menu then you must be using a hard-wired connection so please follow this FAQ.

4. Scroll to Wi-Fi Scan, and then press [enter/OK/✔]; from the available networks that appear, scroll to your Router’s Wi-Fi network and then select the desired network. 

5. Press [enter/OK/✔].

6. Enter your wi-fi password when prompted (this should be displayed on the back of your router - see number key characters below)

7. Press [enter/OK/✔ ] then wait a couple of minutes and your panel should now be back online. You may need to close the app and then re-open it again.

LightSYS Plus
